Divesting the cast glass from the casting mold is always an exciting and unnerving process, not to mention messy. You never know what the final outcome will be. Often interesting things happen in the kiln leaving me with unexpected interesting "solutions" that I might not have come to on my own. It is always a learning process which I try to stay open to.
