A rose in all its variations of color, aroma, and velvety softness is beautiful despite the prickly thorns hiding below the foliage.
For me, this sculpture is about relationships, which are complicated. No one seems to escape without some damage however minor.Ultimately, there is no escaping the profundity of the experiences that are the most beautiful and sacred.
